Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday Maat 10:30 am with burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Fremont, OH. Visitation will be held on Thursday Mafrom 3:00 pm until 6:00pm when a Masonic Service will begin at Hanneman-Keller Funeral Home 416 South Arch Street, Fremont Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Zenobia Shrine Children's Hospital. Jim was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, son Neil Clark, Step-father Virgil Cheek and Step-mother Irene Clark Kosman, brother Raymond "Bud" and infant John, sisters Patricia and Betty Clark, Anna Marie (John) Erchenbrecher, special Uncle Russell Beck, and special aunt and mother's twin sister Elvie Peters all of Fremont. Surviving him is his wife son, Lowell (Lue) Clark, Cross Hill, SC, four grandchildren James "Skip", and Alan (Jordan) Clark, Toledo, OH, Heather (Dan Gillis) Kosta, New Albany, OH, Whitney Kosta, Sarasota FL, great-grandchildren Kensingtyn and Lenix Clark and many nieces and nephews. He was a member of Brainard Lodge #336 of Fremont, Scottish Rite, Zenobia Shrine A.AO.N.M.S, Zenobia Jeepster Parade Unit all of Toledo, Fremont Shrine Club, Hayes Memorial United Methodist Church, The Moose Lodge, Thornwood Men's and Couples Golf Leagues. He enjoyed 50 years of golf in Ohio and Florida, achieving a Hole-In-One at Palmetto Pines in Bradenton, FL. Jim pitched softball in the church league for Memorial Church and bowled many years in leagues. He and Marilyn were the last co-owners until they closed the business for retirement and spent 6 months out of the year for 26 years in Bradenton, Florida. After many years he became co-owner with his wife, brothers-in-laws and their wives. In 1953 he started his 40-year career at Rhoda Lumber & Millwork, Inc. After graduation he went to work at Soreng Mfg. Jim worked during his school years at the Pastime Bowling Alley and JC Penney. Jim married Marilyn (Rhoda) Clark at Memorial Evangelical United Brethren Church in Fremont on June 27, 1953, having 69 years of marriage. He graduated from Fremont Ross High School in 1949. Jim was raised by his maternal grandparents, William S. He was born in Fremont, Ohio on Januto Raymond E Clark and Elsie (Beck) Clark Cheek. ![]()
